Usage stats are required for every account. The app sends them in batches, at most every 15 minutes and on quit. Our server drops any field that is not in this list. Like any web server, ours sees your IP address, and uses it for rate limits.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is separate from the account usage stats above. On this website, it stays off until you accept the banner. If enabled, it records allow-listed page views using the path only, plus fixed pricing, checkout and download actions. Enhanced Measurement also records scroll depth, outbound clicks, file downloads, form interactions and supported embedded-video engagement. Those automatic events can include full destination or file URLs (including query parameters), video title/URL, and form identifiers, destination and submit-button text. Form field values are not collected. Sign-in, admin and private-share pages are excluded. GA redacts email-like text and selected query parameters in the web stream, but this is best-effort and does not protect sensitive values in URL paths or unlisted query keys. Do not put personal information or secrets in page paths, link destinations or page text. The site stores your choice in a first-party cookie for six months. Google may process network and browser details to provide reports. Use Cookie settings in the footer or change it here.
In the Mac app, Google Analytics is off by default. You can enable or disable it in Account. When enabled, Google receives an app-launch event, standard session events, screen names, fixed feature-toggle names, basic app and device details, and a random app-install identifier. It does not receive your account email, Overplus device id, prompts, replies, code, file paths, or tool credentials. Advertising identifiers and ad personalization are disabled. Google may process connection and device details, including general location inferred from the network, to provide analytics reports. Google's data retention follows the Analytics property settings.

On Claude Code, your requests go from the local proxy on 127.0.0.1 straight to Anthropic. The local request log (token counts, model names and a 140-character preview of your last message) stays on your Mac. What Overplus touches on your Mac.
Sign-in
Supabase runs sign-in, and Google too when you sign in with Google. They receive your email address.
Payments
Dodo Payments runs checkout and holds your card details. We receive your email, your license key and the state of your subscription.
How long we keep it
- Usage counts and events: 24 months.
- Account, license and device data: until you delete your account.
Delete your data
Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We delete your account, license link, devices and usage data. Invoices stay with Dodo Payments, under their own policy.
